　　1. therapeutic /ˌθerə'pjuːtɪk/

　　adj. 使人放松的;能解郁安神的

　　e.g. I find gardening very therapeutic.

　　e.g. Yoga is a therapeutic physical exercise that focuses on breathing and relaxation.

　　口语话题：Do you like rainy days?

　　Yeah! I love raining days. I really enjoy listening to the drip-dropping of the rain, which is soothing and therapeutic.

　　2. soothe /suːð/

　　v. 安抚;抚慰;使平静

　　常见搭配：

　　soothe somebody 安抚某人

　　Soothe your nerve 缓和紧张情绪/

　　Soothe a troubled mind 抚慰烦恼的心灵

　　e.g. The waiter tried to soothe the angry customer.
