　　Do you agree or disagree: It is better to make friends with intelligent people than with with people who have a sense of humour.(重复2008.01.05NA)

　　A friend who are brilliant and intelligent and a friend who have a sense of humour, which one do you prefer? This question has been asked to me many times. In my life, I was lucky enough have a great deal of friends who have variety of characteristics, some of them are intelligent in study and good at handle life issues, some of them are serious while doing what they want to do well, and some, of course, have a sense of humour. Having different kinds of personalities, each of them give me a hand while I am in trouble. Therefore, in my opinion, having friends who with an intelligent mind and a sense of humour are essential to me.
　　Friends who have an intelligent mind can help me to measure out difficulties in school work. I always get help from studies for the fact that intelligent classmates understand the teachers easier, and then they can explain and answer the question which I do not understand. One example I think is fit for this category: once when I was doing math exercise, an extremely difficult question came to me, at that time, I thought and thought, half an hour passed, however, I cannot work out that question. When my friend, who was known as intelligent in math and got a great amount of prices in the math field, came to me. He looked at the questions for a second, thought for approximately two minutes, and then figured out the answer. I was totally surprised by his work. After that, he explained the math question to me and analysed the methods to measure this kind of math questions. What is more, an intelligent friend can help me a lot in my daily life by using the method they have learnt in books. I was influenced by them. Thus, having a friend who have an intelligent mind is fantastic.
　　However, having friends who have a sense of humour is not a bad idea. With the great pressure from out study and daily life, a humourous friends can always lead us to laugh happily and delightfully. A humourous friend is the person who have a great deal of new and fantastic ideas, telling stories to relax other people. When I am in a bad mood, I tend to spend more time with a friend who have a sense of humour rather than with an intelligent friend mainly because he/she can distract me from misfortune and sadness. Only humourous friends can tell me to have a positive view of life and smile everyday.
　　All in all, from my perspective, people who argue that it is better to make friends with who are intelligent than people who have a sense of humour is wrong. Both kind of friends are important to me. Intelligent friends helps me and enlighten the way I am thinking; humourous friends make me laugh and told me to have a positive view of life. Whoever of them give me a hand when I need. Therefore, just as the noted proverb said:"A friend in need is a friend indeed."
