　　面对“无从下手”的托福独立写作题，你该怎么办？今天，南京托福培训班小编带大家来看一道对于很多同学可能觉得无从下手的独立写作题目：

　　Do you agree or disagree with the statement?

　　Students are more interested in politics today than they were in the past.

　　为什么会出现“无从下手”的情况呢?因为politics-政治一直是大陆学生接触非常少的话题，同学们在日常生活和学习中大部分时间都在学习，试图获得更高的分数，就导致不怎么关注“窗外事”。但我们要注意的是，托福考试并不是只是局限于中国国内的情况，而讨论的是各个国家，整个世界的大环境。而就这道题而言，我们回想一下最近的国内国际新闻，大家会发现整个世界已经变得更加政治化，各种意识形态决定了社会的大走向，所以我们可以选择agree-同意作为我们的主论点。接下来就要通过更加细致的逻辑分析决定分论点的选择。

　　很多同学在审题时如果出现无法相出两个完整分论点的情况，可以多练习怎样从不同的角度出发来论证主论点。这道题我们就可以选择从主/被动两种角度出发。

　　从“主动“角度出发的话，我们能够发现现在的学生更加主动地参与政治活动是因为他们意识到他们的参与能够为他们带来更多实质性的好处。同时在这里同学们要意识到的是，”政治“并不只是指政党之间的勾心斗角，而是正如孙中山先生所说—“政治是管理众人之事”。所以很好理解的是，大到国家治理，小到学校管理，都充斥着政治的身影，所以学生更加积极地参与政治，是能够为他们带来非常多的好处的，能够为他们自己打造一个更加好的学习和生活环境。

　　其次，从被动的角度出发，学生因为很多外界的因素不得已对于政治更加关注，更加感兴趣。在这里，为了避免出现政治敏感的话题，我们可以选择别的国家所出现的问题来帮助我们进行论述。我们在新闻当中经常能够听到一些国家例如美国，经常会发生校园枪击案，当这种事情就发生在自己身边的时候，很多学生自然会感到悲伤和愤怒，他们也会更加愿意加入到政治讨论中，尽量阻止这些事情在未来的重复发生。

　　在分析完分论点之后，我们需要做的是确定文章的结构以及论证方法。文章的结构我们可以选择常规的让步+两个主体段。而在论证方法上，因为这道题是一道很明显的古今对比题，所以对比论证一定是我们要使用的一种的论证方法，这样我们就可以把对比论证和举例，说理融合在一起，作为我们的主体段论证方法。

　　接下来我们就开始进行文章的写作：

      首先是开头段（引入+题目重塑+我方观点）：

Politics has played an irreplaceable part in our society for centuries. [background-背景（引入）] Some people hold the belief that, in comparison with what was like in the past, students tend to show greater interest in politics. [重塑题目] Though the main focus of students is academic performance, [在这里加上了一个让步状语从句，进行一个小的让步] yet [我们经常会说though/although这种词之后的主句中不应该加but，但从语法的角度看是可以加yet/still的] I totally agree with the idea that students’ interests in politics have been increasing. [my opinion-我的观点]

       接下来是让步段（让步+反驳）：

We still cannot be blind to the fact that students spend too much time trying to scoring more points on tests. It has imposed much stress on students’ mental and physical health and made some people believe that it is almost impossible for children to have any time left for any political activities. [让步的部分] Yet it is not the case in today’s society. What is really happening is that children have become increasingly active on topics related to politics. [反驳的部分-指出现实与理想之间的差距]

       接下来是第 一个主体段—从“主动”的角度出发（对比论证+说理论证+递进论证）：

To begin with, students begin to realize the importance of politics in influencing their lives. [topic sentence-主题句] In other words, the bigger role played by politics in our society and the whole world has raised students’ awareness of the importance of political involvement. [对于主题句的explanation] No country or ideology is perfect in satisfying people’s needs. When students faced problems or issues bothering them at schools or at homes, they didn’t have the proper resources to address them in the past. In comparison, with the help of technologies such as various kinds of social media and online platforms, students get to establish contact with government institutions. In this way, students can get their voices heard[非谓语动词—被动用过去分词形式] by policy-makers. [说理论证+对比论证] And this is how students can participate in activities influencing their daily lives, further motivating[非谓语动词—主动用ing形式] them to get involved in politics. [递进论证]

        第二个主体段（举例论证）：

Moreover, instead of being more willing to take part in political activities, students sometimes are dragged in different political activities, forcing them to show more interest in politics. Take campus shooting happening in America as an example. According to CNN, during the past 2 decades, 100 campus shooting happened in America, leading to the tragic deaths of more than 300 students and staff. The only silver lining [可以意译成：唯 一的好 消息] behind these unfortunate and heart-breaking news is that students feel the desperate need to become more active in political movements, such as gun control. As a result, we can see students talking about how their classmates or teachers died tragically in those shootings and voicing their opinions about how to prevent them from happening in the future through stricter gun controls. To their delight [使…高兴的是], there has been more changes in government’s policies on gun use and supervision of organizations such as NRA[美国步枪协会]. [举例论证]

        在结尾段中重申自己的观点：

In a nutshell, no matter for their personal gains or forced by outside events, students have become absolutely more active participants in politics.
