　　With people’s concern over healthful eating growing, some propose an outright ban on unhealthy food and beverage. Personally, I regard such proposal as unreasonable and infeasible despite its good intent.

They may appreciate the good intent behind this ban but get annoyed by the excessive interference. / Besides, though some goods have been scientifically proved to be harmful to human’s health, the results may to a large extent depend on the intake. In other words, if individuals restrain the intake of those oily or sugary products which usually offer people personal satisfaction, they are less likely to suffer from the diseases listed on the research findings, but an outright ban may deprive citizens of such satisfaction.
