　　理解题目

　　优缺点题型长这样↓

　　Is it positive or negative development?

　　Do advantages of this outweigh disadvantages?

　　→定义：这类题型是要求根据题目中给出的statement给出它的优缺点。

　　→注意：

　　可以认为这个观点全是好处或全都是缺点，当然我们也可以说这个观点既有优点也有缺点，这不是立场不够坚定，反而会显示出我们在思考题目的时候是站在非常客观的角度的，体现出我们是fair-minded person.

　　优缺点题目可以写让步段，比如我们的立场是这个观点全是好处，那可以通过一个让步段浅谈反方的好处，然后再进行转折，论证这个好处有漏洞;注意在谈好处的时候，不要把好处放大，论证很多内容，也不要使用很绝对的词比如never/must/always/the most等，这样会间接证明了反方好处确实是比较难以忽略的，不便于我们后面去写转折内容。

　　要注意题目中有无限定范围，比如:

　　As countries develop, more and more people buy and use their own cars. Do advantages of this trend for individuals outweigh the disadvantages for the environment?

　　这道题如果我们写优点，就只能写对个人的好处;如果写缺点，只能写给环境带来的问题。

　　文章结构&思路示范

　　对于优缺点题目的文章结构有如下两种：

　　结构一：

　　开头：全是优点或全是缺点

　　主体段一：优点(缺点)

　　主体段二：优点(缺点)

　　主体段三：让步(可写可不写)

　　结尾：重申立场+总结主体段的两个理由即可

　　这个结构也叫做一边倒，我们只针对己方立场给出理由，不需要提及反方，写一个可以保证段落论证充分的四段式即可，如果写完字数还不达标，或者有论证不充分的可能，我们也可以再补充一个让步段，我们拿一道题目具体来看下~

　　Some people think that it is more important to plant more trees in open areas such as towns and cities than build more housing. To what extent do agree or disagree?

　　开头段：同意种树更好

　　I support the former view of the statement but, have some assertions that would be captivated in the following paragraphs.

　　主体段一：减缓全球变暖

　　This practice slows down the speed of global warming.

　　主体段二：净化空气，减少灰尘

　　Trees could purify air thoroughly, it reduces the volume of dust, which is generated by transportation and construction.

　　让步段：提供住房也很重要，但是现在房屋短缺的地方很少

　　Admittedly，the construction of houses might be more significant in some cases. However, this kind of shortage has already been alleviated in numerous areas, so planting trees deserves more consideration.

　　结尾段：重申我方立场

　　In conclusion, planting trees in urban areas are pivotal for society's prosperity.

　　结构二：

　　开头：尽管题目中观点有缺点(优点)，但还是认为优点(缺点)更多

　　主体段一：优点

　　主体段二：缺点

　　结尾：重申立场+总结主体段的两个理由即可

　　这种写法比较适用于针对于一道题目想不出我方的两个理由的同学，我们可以一段写缺点，一段写优点，更容易帮助我们在考场上节省更多考虑观点的时间，我们拿一道题目具体来看下~

　　People these days watch TV, films and other programmes alone rather than with other people. Do the advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages?

　　开头：尽管自己看有优势，但整体上还是有很多消极影响

　　In my opinion, this is overall a negative development despite the conveniences it offers.

　　主体段一：很多便利，比如灵活性和更多的选择

　　The advantages of more insular viewing habits relate to individual convenience.

　　主体段二：然而，自己看对社会凝聚力有危害

　　However, I believe the tradeoffs related to social cohesion are more pressing concerns.

　　结尾段：重申我方立场

　　In conclusion, although watching shows alone has benefits in terms of personal choice, the drawbacks related to social interaction make it a negative on the whole.
