　　纵观今年的新题，人物类话题的难度比以往有所上升。之所以难度上升也是因为相较于以往的主题都是名人或朋友之类的，今年的定语部分就能让人束手无策，比如：《侍花弄果之人》。

　　Describe a person you know who loves to grow plants (eg. Vegetables/ fruits/flowers)

　　You should say:

　　• Who the person is

　　• What the person grows

　　• Where the person grows them

　　• And why the person enjoys growing plants

　　一些学生很可爱，看到这题给出的第一反应就是"我得去背点花卉类的词汇"。小编觉得首先由这种想法的同学你的第一步就走错了。

　　有没有专有词汇不是核心，重点在于你是否可以在没有对应的词汇基础之上依旧给出有细节的回答。

　　在解题前，请先不要先行带入这个人物到底是谁。这会限制你的思维。因为人不重要，重要的是每个问题可以从哪些角度来阐述。

　　现在就跟着小编一个个的来拆解每个小问题吧!

　　01

　　Who the person is

　　如若你喜欢制造人物反差，我会推荐你按"fact--but--feeling(fact)"来拓展细节。

　　这里的"fact"是指他的个人属性，比如：年龄/性别/国籍/教育背景/家庭背景等。在这一条拓展路径中，我们最终就是通过他的一个人物属性来说明另一个人物特征。

　　比如：他名校毕业，却放弃大城市的工作，去乡下种地;

　　Example：

　　A person that comes to my mind is a young man who graduated from a top-notch 一流的 university years ago. I read about him in a local newspaper. He had given up his promising life to set up a vegetable cultivation base 蔬菜种植基地 in a small rural village. He did it with a group of like-minded friends and even though his parents were not impressed by his decision, he did it anyway.

　　比如：他跟我差不多大，却喜欢养花养草而不喜欢灯红酒绿;

　　Example：

　　A person that comes to my mind is my friend, Amy. She is my age 同岁 but doesn’t look it 看起来不像她年纪. She spends all her time in her garden. She has an abundance of plants and flowers and she has her own vegetable patch. She prefers to hang out in her garden than go out to parties.

　　比如：他身体残疾，却内心坚强，努力寻找生活的积极面。

　　Example：

　　A person that comes to my mind is my neighbor, a 70-year-old lady who lost her legs when she was young. It was heartbreaking at first and she had trouble accepting what had happened. But over time she learnt to live with it and became more positive in her outlook on life. She took up gardening and I think this brought her a lot of peace

　　除了以上这一条拓展线之外，【How you know (about)】也将是本季人物类话题第一小问非常值得思考的细节拓展方向。

　　只要我们没有在4个小问题里看到它明确的问你【How you know (about) the person】，我就可以把它作为一个维度放在第一小问拓展。

　　按过去所讲框架，我们需要遵循三步来完成其拓展：

　　step one: 你第一次是怎么知道这个人的 (某个时间点?在某个地点?通过某个人?)

　　step two: 你对他的初次印象(初步接触中了解到了哪些信息：性格?爱好?外貌?工作等?)以及这个初步印象是否有让你对这个人产生兴趣或者好感。

　　step three：你如何进一步去了解这个人(成为了网友?还是现实生活中经常会交流)以及你们目前是什么关系(朋友?友好相处关系?粉丝?)

　　如若你想直接切题，step two部分可以带出他与植物间的联系。

　　比如：我第一次见到他是我刚来小区的时候，他送了我一些自己种的水果作为欢迎礼物，我很感动，于是请他吃了一顿饭。我们那次聊了很多，发现有很多共同点，于是成为了朋友。

　　或者：我一直都没见过她，但我一直被她所打理的花园所吸引。终于我在去年见到了她，我过去跟她打招呼，聊了聊天。当我走的时候她还送了我一些自己种的蔬菜水果，我很感动。从那以后，我们的关系就拉进了，我每次路过都会跟她打招呼。

　　Example：

　　A person that comes to my mind is my neighbor, a 30-year-old lady with two lovely kids. I havealways been impressed by her beautiful garden, however, I only met her in person about a year ago. She was watering her flowers, so I went over to say hi and to tell her how much I loved her garden. We had a nice talk and when I went to leave she gave me some of her vegetables from her garden. I was so touched by her kind gesture 善意的举止 . Ever since then, we have become close and I often pop by to say hello.

　　What the person grows

　　"What"类型问题也需要分三步来解答：

　　第一步， 确定解题方向

　　该小问题全程围绕"Plant"来展开。鉴于它已给出一定的范围，我们便可直接利用。同时，无需过多思考这人到底种了什么，你只需思考你有哪些跟花果蔬菜相关的词汇即可。比如：

　　flowers： rose/ Lily/ jasmine/ sunflower/ tulip/ lavender/ lotus

　　vegetables: potatoes/ pepper/ chili/ tomatoes

　　fruits: banana/ apple/ watermelon/ strawberries/ blueberries

　　第二步，确定解题框架

　　what类型问题有两种解题框架：按主次或按时间线拆分

　　按主次拆分(主要种什么，次要种什么)

　　比如：她最喜欢种的就是花，除此之外，也会种点蔬菜水果。

　　按时间线拆分(以前种什么，后来改种什么)

　　比如：她以前喜欢种花，现在则以种菜为主。

　　第三步，确定细节拓展方向

　　在第二步的基础之上，我们只需要加入细节即可完成整道题的拓展。这个时候，我们便可按“5w1h”(when/where/who/what/why/ how/ how much/ how often/ how long)的拓展法对其细节进行进一步描述。

　　when： 什么时候开始种的;或者每天什么时候会去打理自己的花

　　who：向谁学习的;会跟谁一起种;成果会和谁分享

　　what：主要种了哪些品种

　　why: 为什么要种花或蔬菜水果

　　how much：花了多少钱去种这个东西

　　how long： 种了多久了

　　比如：

　　她非常喜欢种花+what(各种颜色的玫瑰，比如：红的/黄的/还有黑的)+how long(十年前开始的)+when (每天早起浇花);

　　除此之外，她也喜欢种点蔬菜水果+what (比如：土豆/青椒/番茄)+learn from whom(专门向周围的农民请教的)+share with whom (疫情期间买不到菜，和邻居一起分享)

　　Example one：

　　Well, she used to grow flowers. She had every type of flower you can imagine growing in her garden. Her garden was always so vibrant and colorful. However, during the Pandemic, she realized that it was becoming very difficult to get hold of 得到 fresh fruit and vegetables so she took matters into her own hands 自己处理 and started her own vegetable patch 菜园. She didn't know much about growing vegetables so she used YouTube to guide her. After a few months, she didn't have to worry about not being able to buy them anymore

　　Example two：

　　He first started as a strawberry farmer but knew very little about growing them. Through trial and error 反复尝试 and sheer determination 坚强的决心, he had his first successful crop. He then decided to branch out into 拓展 other fruits and vegetables and now sells a wide variety of produce, all of which is organic. He came up with a great idea to sell it to people living in the city. He offers a door-to-door service 送货上门服务 at reasonable prices. He became very popular and now has over 10,000 satisfied customers.

　　Where the person grows

　　此题解答前，我们需要先明确所有可能性的范围。

　　种植在某容器中，比如：废弃塑料罐/ 废弃马桶/废弃草帽等

　　该点可以用来体现可能他家小，没有大的空间用于种植;也可体现他是个环保主义者;或者也可用于说明他可能没有太多钱;以及可能他是个非常有创造力的人，不喜欢循规蹈矩的种植路线。

　　种植在某空间中，比如：rooftop terrace (屋顶平台)/ yard/ land/ farm等

　　他可以种在自己家的范围，也可以考虑向外发展。就像现在城市里的人很喜欢在郊区租一块地，然后周末带着家人去那边种地，同时也可以享受欢乐的家庭时光。

　　在阐述过程中，你也可以体现"主次"或"时间线"。

　　她主要在哪种，偶尔也会在哪种;

　　She only has a small garden so she decided to buy a small piece of land. It is a bit far from her house but every week she takes the kids out there and they spend all day working in the open air. She teaches her children how to grow and take care of the plants, flowers and vegetables and they love it.

　　According to what I know, his business started on a small piece of land but he outgrew it. When his business picked up he bought a much bigger piece so he could grow more. It was great for the local villages as he offered work to anyone who wanted to.

　　Example three：

　　My friend is very creative so even though our dorm is narrow and cramped 狭小且拥挤的 she still found a way to grow plants. She plants succulents 多肉 in anything she can find such as used cans, jars and bottles. And she is successful, our dorm is full of thriving plants. She told us that she has a big beautiful garden in her family house and she loves spending time there. It’s her sanctuary 庇护所 away from the stress of university life.

　　Why the person enjoys growing

　　此题的核心在于"种植(蔬菜/水果/花)带来的可能性好处"。为此，我们可以先思考种植的好处，再来思考这个人喜欢种植的原因。

　　健康

　　自给自足的蔬菜水果是健康的，有机的，没有农药的，这就可以和市场中的蔬菜水果形成对比。为了便于保存或者让水果看起来更诱人，蔬菜水果被附着了大量的化学物质，你哪怕花了很多钱都很难买到纯天然的水果。而自己种则是唯一的途径。

　　省钱

　　现代社会的高物价也使蔬菜/水果/花的价格逐渐攀升。可能一个土豆都需要花很多钱才可以买到，这个时候自己种就很经济实惠，一年能帮家里省好多钱。

　　净化空气

　　现在的大城市空气污染严重，而植物可以在一定程度上净化空气。为此，在家里种点植物也可以带来清新的空气。

　　装饰

　　植物是美且有生机的，它们的存在也可以使原本无聊的家变得有生气。

　　放松心情

　　种植可以使人放松的原因是因为它是一种慢的生活方式。当我们生活在大城市当中，快的生活节奏和巨大的工作压力都会使人喘不上气;而种花可以让我们慢下脚步，享受生活的同时，可以学会思考。

She explained it gave her inner peace and calm while living and working in a very fast-paced competitive society. She is a successful manager working in an international company. Every day she is swamped with work and was worried she was going to burn out. She decided she needed more balance in her life so took up gardening. She quickly got into it and developed green fingers.

　　Example：

　　He loves gardening and farming because of his Grandpa. He went to his Grandpa's house after school everyday and watched how he really took care of his garden. It was his pride and joy. So over the years his Grandpa showed him the ropes 指点诀窍 and taught him the tricks 教他技巧. As he grew older he knew this was something he wanted to pursue.
