其实和"Health"相关的话题也是雅思口语里比较常见的一类主题了。除了这道题以外,我们还考过《健康文章》。虽然它们一个考具体的活动,一个考文章,但它们的核心都在于"Health"这个单词,为此,思考模式上有着异曲同工。
既然我们现在要解答这道题,第一步我们就需要先来思考"保持健康"的方式有哪一些?我相信多数同学会说运动和早睡早起,但我建议你把路想的更宽一点。你先思考一下"Health"可以分为什么?
“Health”维度拓展:
1. Physical health 生理健康
“身体健康”包括了一个人的饮食、睡眠、运动以及疾病。
2. Mental health 心理健康
“心理健康”则主要关注于压力层面的东西以及心理相关的疾病。
现在我们就可以从每个层面着手来具体思考它的可能性范围。
• 从饮食来看
保持健康的方式包括:规律饮食/ 少吃多餐/ 戒糖戒辣/ 一天八杯水等
• 从睡眠来看
保持健康的方式包括:早睡早起/ 一天睡够八小时/午睡等
• 从运动来看
保持健康的方式包括:规律运动/ 各种运动类型-瑜伽/ 慢跑/ 篮球等
• 从疾病来看
保持健康的方式包括:定期体检等
• 从压力来看
保持健康的方式包括:冥想/ 定期度假/ 积极参加社交活动等
相信通过对一个层面的列举,你一定会有更多的想法产生。接着就可按着我的脚步来具体拓展每一个小问。

What it is
若要归类,我会把这道题和"活动类"放在一起,毕竟你保持健康要做的是一件事情。既然是"活动类"话题,我就会从这两个角度来思考第一小问的拓展:
Popularity 受欢迎程度
我可以直接这么说,只要涉及活动/物品类话题,我的首选角度就是"Popularity"。这个角度在拓展过程中,我们可以具体考虑它时间线的变化。比如:最开始不怎么受欢迎,后来因为什么被越来越多人接受;如若它没有非常明显的变化,我们也可以直接拓展,它为什么会受欢迎以及怎么怎样的受欢迎。
Example:
There are so many ways for us to keep fit and healthy. For me, I think meditating 冥想 regularly is an effective way to keep a healthy body and mind. Actually, it wasn't really popular in China but nowadays, as we have much more stress than before, it is taking off 变得受欢迎 and many young people are impressed by it, including myself.
Difficult or not 简单还是难
当我们说到一件事情究竟是"难还是简单"的时候,我们可以采用"主次"或"时间线"的方式说明。比如:大多数人觉得简单,而我觉得难;或者我原本觉得应该简单,但后来发现很难。
Example:
Actually, when I was young, I seldom paid attention to my health, but as I got older, I realized the importance of a healthy lifestyle and decided that I needed to take better care of myself. At first, I thought it would be a piece of cake and that I could pull it off 成功实现 easily. However, I almost quit after just a couple of days. Then I asked my parents to encourage and support me and that really helped. Every day I do exercise and eat a balanced diet.

When you do it
一般而言,大家会直接给出一些频率相关的内容,但我觉得这样就没有办法让你充分拓展细节。为此,我会让你把这道题看成"How you know about it"。
当我们在回答"How you know about xx"的时候,我们遵循的结构是【认知过程-目前结果】。因此,我们可以先回答你是如何知道这种养生方式的,最后再给出你目前的频率以及大概在怎样的时间段去做这件事情。
Example one:
Actually, the first time I heard about it was when I read an in-depth 深度的 article about it in a magazine. It talked about an endless list of benefits so I decided I should give it a go 尝试一下. A few friends had also tried it in the past and thought it was incredible so I thought ' why not?' To be honest, at first, it was really tough for me to sit and think about nothing. My brain kept jumping between thoughts and I found it hard to just focus on one thing. I kept using the techniques I had read about and after a while, it became easier and now I meditate every night without fail 绝无例外.
Example two:
To be honest, I didn't know about it until I talked to my friend who is very health conscious 有健康意识的. She told me that if I wanted to keep physically fit, having regular body check-ups 体检 was essential. She has been going once a year since she started at university. Even though she was afraid of going to the hospital and meeting doctors, she always felt at ease when the results came back and she was ok. I decided this was a smart thing to do and scheduled an appointment.

很明显此题对应的应该是第一种情况:反复性
为此,我们需要按照"主次"或者"时间线"的方式来具体回答。
按主次拆分
你经常跟谁一起,偶尔跟谁一起。
Example:
I normally meditate by myself. It's relaxing just on my own. I can enjoy inner peace without any interruptions from the outside world. But sometimes, my father joins me and we meditate together. He has been meditating for years so he is quite a pro.
按时间线拆分
你原本跟谁一起,后来跟谁一起。
Example:
I managed to convince a couple of friends to come along and get a check-up too. The night before we all went out for dinner and then met really early in the morning to go to our appointment It was nice having the moral support of my friends as, to tell you the truth, I was feeling really nervous. We all went for lunch afterwards and talked about how it was such a relief to have got it done. Unfortunately, nowadays, i have to go alone, as all my friends are either too busy or they have moved away.

Why it can help you keep fit
因为在文章最前面我们有说过,健康分为"身体健康"和"心理健康"。为此,你选择的这个事情可能是帮你保持身体上的健康,也有可能是心理上的,比如:缓解压力。
Example one:
I think I benefit a lot from meditation. It helps me relieve my stress. I always go to sleep with a calm mind.
In this day and age 当代, life can be crazy. I work long hours, eat badly and don’t get enough time to decompress 减压. Because of this, I was in danger of becoming burnt out
Meditation helps alleviate 缓解 this. When I start meditating, I begin to clear my mind and only focus on what I am doing in the moment. I breathe slowly and deeply with the soothing music on. Every time I finish mediation, I feel at ease.
Example two:
Since I started having regular body check-ups, I have felt many benefits. The test results showed no series problems but the doctor said it was clear that I had a poor diet and an unhealthy lifestyle. He gave me great advice which I took on board and now I feel amazing. I have so much more energy and I look a lot more healthy. I do regular exercise and I can feel I am physically fitter than ever before.
