　　雅思口语Part 2新题《社交媒体上关注的人》你的第三问细节拓展了么？再过几天就是新年了，虽然过年需要放松，但口语的练习不能丢，为此大家还是要合理规划自己的时间。同时，口语的练习在于“开口”而不是“笔头”，所以，一天保证1-2小时的输出是很有必要的。

　　好了，进入正题。今天给大家选择了一道人物类的话题进行讲解—《社交媒体上关注的人》。

　　Describe a person who you follow on social media

　　You should say:

　　• Who the person is

　　• How you know (about) the person

　　• What the person posts on social media

　　• And explain why you follow him/her on social media

　　虽然这道题的难度一般, 但我发现很多同学在“关注的人”的选择上有点局限。一般而言，我们会想到的就是明星或者网红，可我们身边的人也可以是你关注的人啊。比如：你会在微博关注你某一个暗恋的男生或者你的前男友的现女友，你也会在抖音上关注你的朋友等。

　　同时，你关注的这个人可以是受人尊敬的，比如周杰伦;也可以是因为黑红而让你关注，比如郭老师。

　　明确以上这一点之后，我从四个小问上来给大家做具体的讲解。

　　Who the person is

　　第一小问的拓展可从人物类的维度中挑选，以下是我较为推荐的几个维度：

　　-名字 Name

　　网络上的人物，网名是一个比较有特色的点。该网名可能和他喜欢的事物有关，也可能和其性格有关。

　　Example：

　　a person that comes to mind is a vlogger called 'Marmot' 土拨鼠. She chose this name because she thinks it's a really lovely creature. She just graduated from university and like other young people, she is passionate about everything especially English. So she started shooting short videos about learning English.

　　-工作 Occupation

　　我们可以从“主次”或“时间线”上来阐述一个人的职业。从主次来说，他主要做什么，次要做什么;从时间线来说，他原本干什么，后来投入在哪个领域上。

　　Example one：

　　A person that I follow on social media is called Sarah, a high achieving student who enrolled at Cambridge university two years ago. Even though her hectic 繁忙的 study life drives her mad, she still makes the most of 利用 her free time and posts vlogs on Bilibili, a YouTube-like app. Now she has a huge following.

　　Example two：

　　A person that comes to mind is Daffy Tang (唐鹤德), a homosexual 同性恋 from Hong Kong. He used to be a successful financial analyst, but when he fell in love with a superstar in China, called Leslie Cheung (张国荣)，he resigned and started helping Leslie with his business. Even though Leslie committed suicide 自杀 decades ago, Daffy still takes care of his business.

　　-外貌 Appearance

　　外貌的描述可着力于其变化。为此，我们可以从时间线上进行说明。原本他长什么样，后来经历了什么，他的外貌发生怎样的变化。这种变化可以是好的，也可以是差的。

　　Example one：

　　A person that I follow on social media is my roomie, Vanessa. She used to wear quite dull and uninspiring clothes and always had the same haircut, but when she started university she completely changed her style. Now she looks modern and fashionable, so she started sharing her outfits and style tips on a blog. Now she has around one million followers.

　　Example two：

　　A person that I follow on social media is Jay Chow, a well-known musician in my country. He used to be very toned 身材好 and fit with an eight-pack 八块腹肌. However, he got addicted to bubble tea 奶茶 and put on lots of weight. In spite of that, he is still a very confident man and the king of pop in Asia.

　　-年龄 Age

　　针对“年龄”的陈述，我们可以用“but”来制造一种转折。一般而言，一个老人想要得到很多人的关注，他往往具备很多老年人不具备的特性;反之亦然。

　　Example one：

　　A person that I follow on social media is called Aunt Sherry (雪芮姑姑) , a name given to her by her followers. She is getting on for 差不多 60, but she doesn’t look it. She is still as fresh as a daisy and loves to chase fashion like a young person. Her soft voice and beautiful face helped her rise to stardom 瞬间成名 and now she has a great number of followers online.

　　Example two：

　　A person that I follow on social media is a kid, called Mike. He is only 10 years old, but he doesn’t look it.He is very experienced and cultured. He has travelled to over 10 countries in the last year. His mum helped him register an account on Tiktok and he enjoys sharing his life with his followers.

　　What the person posts on social media

　　此题为全篇重点。想要答好此题，我们需要先明确这么几个问题：

　　1. 内容形式

　　它可以是图片/视频/文字/音频形式。

　　2. 具体内容

　　可以和生活有关，包括衣食住行;可以和工作学习有关;也可以是广告(可探讨粉丝对于广告的看法)。

　　3. 解题结构

　　按主次或时间线拆分。你可以按主次对其发送内容进行总结，比如：主要关于学习，偶尔发发生活;你也可以按时间线变化来说明其发送内容，比如：以前他喜欢发生活，现在更喜欢聊学习;或者我原本以为他喜欢发什么，后来发现他喜欢发什么。

　　4. 细节拓展

　　细节拓展方向可以从“5W2H”来思考(when/where/who/what/why/how much/ how often)。比如，发视频的频率，视频的长度，往往什么时候会发，主要面向人群等。

　　① 按主次拆分

　　Example：

　　According to what I know, she posts English videos every day without fail 毫无例外. They include things like how to pronounce words correctly and what her life was like when she was studying abroad. All the videos are not that long, around 3 to 4 mins. Because of this, I usually watch one or two clips during my class break.

　　Sometimes, she posts adverts and some of her followers complain as they think it is a waste of their time. But I am a huge supporter, and I think posting advertisements can help her earn money quickly and allow her to continue posting content on a regular basis.

　　She is also very responsible. All the advertisements are well-selected. Because of this, I trust her and always buy the products she recommends.

　　Example：

　　Before I followed him, I thought he would post lots of things about Leslie, and then I could learn more about my favorite star through him. However, I was completely wrong, as he is a low-profile 低调的 person. He only uses social media three or four times a year and days like Leslie’s birthday and Christmas Day which was also Leslie’s favorite. Even though he almost posts the same pictures every year, his followers and Leslie’s fans leave comments under them. They mostly say how much they miss Leslie.

　　The reason why I follow him on social media is that he is such a faithful 忠实的 man. His partner Leslie passed away many years ago but he has remained loyal to him. He recently held a memorial 悼念 concert online and invited many of Leslie’s friends to sing songs. All his fans could send virtual flowers on the internet to show their love to Leslie. He said all these flowers would go to heaven to keep him company 陪伴他. I was deeply touched by him. He is such a great man.
