　　In 1960, a winding pathran through the zoo from north to south, dividing the area into several sections. The northwestern area housed African animals, while Australian species were kept to the south. On the opposite side of the main path, there was a bird enclosure, adjacent to a seal show that stood at the end of a branch road near the harbor. Below them, a chimpanzee habitat was situated, followed by a gift shop further south. The entire eastern part of the zoo was designated as a picnic area.

　　Today, a ferry terminal has been introduced to the west of the former harbor, which now has been removed to the northwestern corner. Two new entranceshave been constructed at both ends of the main path. The Australian animal habitat remains unchanged, while the former African animal section is now dedicated to wild animals. Meanwhile, the seal show has been moved to the previous chimpanzee habitat, and a smaller habitat for African animals has been added to the west. However, the bird enclosure has been removed. The original gift shop has been expanded into a two-storey building. Moreover, a new cable car system, extending from the northern to the southern part of the zoo, has been built near the picnic area, significantly improving accessibility for visitors.
