　　The bar chart compares the monthly precipitation in five Chinese cities(Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, and Urumqi) across three months(March, June, and September) in 2020.

　　Overall, Guangzhou received the highest rainfall in most months, whereas Urumqi remained the driest city throughout the period. In addition, June recorded the highest precipitation across all five cities.

　　In March, rainfall levels were relatively low in most cities except Shanghai, which recorded approximately 120 mm, closely followed by Guangzhou at 80 mm. Chengdu received 30 mm of rainfall, twice that of Urumqi. In contrast, Beijing recorded only 10 mm, the lowest among all the five cities.

　　Subsequently, the rainfall in Guangzhou and Shanghai jumped to a peak of 280 mm and 180 mm in June, before falling dramatically to 170 mm and 90 mm in September. Similarly, after a fivefold increase to the highest level at 150 mm in June, the precipitation of Chengdu dropped slightly to 120 mm in September. Despite the above fluctuations, these three cities continued to maintain higher levels of rainfall.

　　However, the precipitation in the other two cities was much lower. Beijing’s rainfall level surged to 80 mm in June, followed by a noticeable decrease to 50 mm after three months. In comparison, the rainfall in Urumqi remained consistently low, keeping stable at roughly 30 mm in both June and September.
