　　单项选择题(四选一)是许多国际学校加试中会采用的题型，如南外本部，金中国际班，南外仙林，雨中国高，南师附中江宁，金中河西等，每次笔试均会采用10-20道不等的题目去主要考察学生语法的掌握情况。比较特殊的考点包括倒装、强调、虚拟语气等。其中，强调句可谓是各个学校语法考察的 “杀手锏”，几乎每套单选题都要包含1题左右对于强调句型的考查。

　　强调

　　1. 强调句中谓语以外的其他成分时用强调句型

　　It + is/was + 被强调部分 + that/which/who/whom/whose + 句子的其他成分

　　2. 强调句型it was not until...that...

　　例：As was discussed before, it was not until the 19th century that the newspaper became the dominant pre-electronic medium, following in the wake of the book and in the company of the periodical.

　　3. 用wh-词引导的名词从句表示强调

　　what+ 从句 + be + 强调部分

　　例：But what we forget—what our economy depends on us forgetting—is that happiness is more than pleasure without pain.

　　4. 在谓语动词前加助动词do, did, does强调该谓语动词，构成强调句

　　例：But science does provide us with the best available guide to the future, and it is critical that our nation and the world base important policies on the best judgments that science can provide concerning the future consequences of present actions.
