　　How important is it to be patient? Do you think that Chinese people are very patient?

　　There is an old Irish saying: “When God created time, he created plenty of it.” This means that it is not wise to rush at everything and sometimes it is wise to delay things and think about them. If you take this attitude , it tends to teach you the value of patience. Sometimes you are faced with a problem that you cannot solve because others need to make decisions before you can solve it. In such cases, you need to sit back and relax---you cannot move on, so why risk stress-related illness by worrying about it?

　　Chinese people tend to be very patient because they think of time in terms of centuries rather than minutes because of their 5,000 years of history. Also, traditionally patience and acceptance of things as they are have been seen as virtues in Chinese culture.
