Science

Science can be thought of as both a body of knowledge (the things we have already discovered) and the process of acquiring new knowledge(through observation and experimentation—testing and hypothesizing). Both knowledge and process are interdependent since the knowledge acquired depends on the questions asked and the methods used to find the answers.

1. Do you like science?

Yes, I like science since when I was a pupil at primary school, we were always excited about experiments done by teachers in science class, such as the vinegar and baking soda volcano. In addition, our teachers were passionate about subjects in science, so they've influenced me a lot!

2. When did you start to learn about science?

I began to learn science at a very early age, maybe at seven years old. At school, many science subjects, such as math, natural science, and social science, were mandatory. However, these subjects were all basic knowledge about nature and society and textbooks contained a lot of funny pictures. The biggest benefit of learning science, for me, is to learn how to solve problems from different angles and think in a logical way! Basically, I enjoyed taking science classes when I was in primary school.

3. Which science subject is interesting to you?

I am fascinated by Astronomy. It is a subject about how the universe came into being and how the Earth evolved over the past millions of years. I am an avid reader of breathtaking discoveries about Outerspace explorations, such as seeking life on another planet. Basically, astronomy is a subject easily accessible to all kinds of people, and I can frequently hear news about the latest advancement in this field!
