I'm planning a two-week trip to California next summer. It is one of the largest states in continental America and is the home of Hollywood.

我计划下个夏天到加利福尼亚旅行两个星期。它是美国大陆非常大的州之一，也是好莱坞的家乡。

My parents and I will travel together. Going away with them will be good quality time with family.

我父母会和我一起去旅行。和他们一起将会是一段和家人一起度过的美好时光。

There are plenty of reasons I want to visit California.

我想去加利福尼亚是出于多种原因。

First of all, I’m a huge fan of Hollywood movies and California is where Hollywood is located.

首先，我是好莱坞电影的超级粉丝，好莱坞位于加利福尼亚。

Besides Hollywood, there are lots of other places to go in California. I’ll explore Beverly Hills in Los Angeles and visit Disneyland and the SeaWorld in San Diego.

除了好莱坞，加利福尼亚还有许多去处。我会去探索洛杉矶的贝弗利山，并且游览迪斯尼乐园和圣地亚哥的海洋世界。

More importantly, it’s well known that the sun and the beaches are Southern California’s main offering year round. For almost the whole year, the water there is generally clean and calm, and the sands are perfect for strolling, volleyball matches or simply unwinding on a blanket.

更重要的是，众所周知，南加利福尼亚全年供应阳光和沙滩。全年的大多数时间，那里的水都十分干净且平静，沙滩也非常适合散步，打排球，或者只是简单得在毯子上放松一下。

That’s why California attracts me so much.

这就是为什么加利福尼亚如此的吸引我。
