It is bothersome that natural resources such as fuel, trees, and fresh water are extremely being exhausted by more and more people. I believe such rapid depletion of natural assets occurring in nature brings about a number of problems, which, thankfully, can be solved by various measures.
Starting with the hurdles associated with fast depleting of environmental resources, the following are the most obvious ones. Firstly, it leads to global warming. As much oil is consumed, particularly by various vehicles such as cars, buses, trucks, and so on, harmful greenhouse gases are emitted into the air, which include CO2 and methane. Secondly, loss of forests for human habitat is another disturbing challenge. The Amazon Forest, for instance, is home to immense areas of forests, which have been cut down from the past up to present. Studies show that since humans started cutting down forests in the Amazon, 46 percent of trees have been lost, and it remains on the rise.
Fortunately, some solutions are heavily available to mitigate the above-mentioned situations. Primarily, governments must enact laws as regards deforestation and illegal logging. A good case in point is investment in rainforest communities, pledging locals and tourists to plant a tree for every visit. Another measure is legislation of strict industrialization regulations to attenuate global warming. An example of which is setting a limit to the number of factories in a particular area. Governments can also fine manufacturers proven to have observed improper waste disposal and unreasonable utilization of vulnerable resources, which also aggravate human-induced emissions of greenhouse gases.
In conclusion, it is clear that global warming and loss of forestry are the most common hurdles we face for overly consuming natural resources. These can be resolved by encouraging policies in favor of the forests and implementing directives regarding environment-friendly industrial operations.
