1. nosy /'nəʊzɪ/
adj. 爱管闲事的;喜欢打听的;八卦的;
搭配:be/ get nosy about …
e.g. The press is often too nosy about a celebrity's personal history.
e.g. The nosy journalist dug up information that wasn't meant to be public.
syn. gossipy 喜欢说长道短的
The gossipy magazine was filled with rumors about celebrities.
2. articulate /ɑː'tɪkjʊlət/
adj. 善于表达的;口齿伶俐的
e.g. One benefit of reading is that it helps to broaden our vocabulary, so we get to become more articulate.
e.g. The professor is known for his articulate lectures, which are always engaging and informative.
