摘要:雅思口语本应是这样的(4)

    雅思口语考什么?南京新航道雅思口语老师有话说。南京新航道学校阮恩老师的雅思口语高频话题100例之Part 2 topic:

How do we ‘Describe a piece of equipment that is broken, for example, a washing machine, a TV’ (Part 2 topic)? First of all, don’t be misled by the cues provided, you DO NOT have to describe a large piece of equipment, as long as you specify, at the very beginning of your response, that you have never seen a broken home appliance, because your family always pay a high price and buy quality goods produced by international brands. Ryan has a proposed response to this topic.

Well, look, to be honest, I have never seen any home appliances broken in my household, coz my parents always buy the very best products, not because we are spoiled, they just think buying for the highest quality is a good investment. My father’s car sometimes has some minor technical problems, but it is not broken. So the most often seen broken equipment is our cellphones. Well, it’s not a large piece of equipment like a washing machine or a TV, but it’s a small piece of equipment that we use on a daily basis, a device that everyone has and for most smartphone users they have a broken one, particularly one with a broken screen. I broke my SONY T2 the other day. I broke it on purpose. I was mad for a cause that I don’t feel comfortable mentioning. Then I just grabbed my SONY and smashed it onto the floor. I probably need to go through some sort of anger management intervention classes and learn to contain myself, but the phone’s broken already. It breaks into three pieces, the front, the battery and the back case. The six-inch touch screen was totally destroyed. I took a picture of the broken phone with another phone of mine and post it onto the social network. I wrote “to show my resolution to have the groundbreaking and bigger than bigger iPhone 6”. Well, many of my friends gave immediate responses, like “oops you are celebrating too early”, coz unfortunately, the new iPhone is not yet available on China’s market. Now I have to make do with my Nokia 1020, a good phone in fairness. But I regret my misbehavior of smashing the SONY, coz my mum heard it, and when she saw the dent on the floor, she gets really mad, well, I usually don’t mess with her, coz when she gets angry, the consequence is just unbelievable. So I smashed my phone, my mum smashed me in the face for the dent on the floor.
