　　1. knack /næk/

　　n. 诀窍;本领;

　　常见搭配：have a knack for …擅长做某事

　　Get/acquire the knack of 掌握做某事的本领

　　e.g. She has a knack for solving complex problems.

　　e.g. Once you get the knack of riding a bicycle, you'll never lose it.

　　类似表达：

　　be skilled at 擅长..

　　be a dab hand at …行家;能手

　　如本季口语话题：can you fix things?

　　e.g. To be honest, I’m not particularly skilled at fixing things. I always leave such tasks to professionals who have the expertise and experience.

　　e.g. I would not say I am a dab hand at fixing, but thanks to the internet, I can manage some repairs like unclogging drains, and changing blubs.

　　2. rusty /'rʌstɪ/

　　adj. 生锈的;

　　adj. (技术、知识等)荒废的，生疏的;

　　e.g. My golf is a bit rusty, I haven’t played for years.

　　e.g. My cycling skill is a little bit rusty, it's been a while since have ridden one.

　　e.g. But there are more conventional ways to win a new position. Experts advise job hunters to brush up on their skills.

　　e.g. The economy of many islands like Tonga depends on tourism, farming or fishing, and on handicrafts.
