　　这三道题我们放一块儿分析好了再找答案。题目标题中的traditional uses在文章标题没出现过，所以可以划定位词。表格的左边一列是讲述part of tree, 所以这一列的答案只能是树叶，树干，树根，果实之类的东西，都是名词。表格的右边一列是讲述用途的，这一列的词我们都划为定位词。这道题中的6，7，8题都处于一列中，彼此之间是并列的关系，所以在原文中出现在挨着的句子中，离得应该不会太远。

　　3 For centuries the huarango tree was vital to the people of the neighbouring Middle lea Valley too. They grew vegetables under it and ate products made from its seed pods. Its leaves and bark were used for herbal remedies, while its branches were used for charcoal for cooking and heating, and its trunk was used to build houses. But now it is disappearing rapidly. The majority of the huarango forests in the valley have already been cleared for fuel and agriculture - initially, these were smallholdings, but now they’re huge farms producing crops for the international market.

　　上文第 一句中的for centuries【长达几个世纪】对应题目标题中的traditional【传统的】，第二句中的ate表示这个树的一种用途，虽然题干中没问跟吃相关的用途，但可以确定这一段在讲树的用途，往后找题干问的用途就行。

　　上文第三句中的herbal remedies【草药】对应题干中的medicine,所以这句中找第7题的答案。这句中的两个并列的名词是leaves and bark，所以答案是leaves，bark。

　　上文第三句后半句中出现了used for charcoal【用作木炭】对应第6题题干中的fuel,所以答案是前面的branches【树枝】。

　　上文第三句最后部分的build houses对应第8题中的construction，所以答案是前面的trunk【树干】。

　　这道题中的branch有两种意思：
